Writing to the Game Section on Rock This Town is not the easiest thing to do. It is quite difficult to find something thematically suitable, and at the same time not worn to the holes…
I downloaded the movie Velvet Goldmine (Velvet Gold Mine or Velvet Mines) back in 2015 due to the presence of T.Rex songs, all this time it was lying on my old hard drive and only…
Albuquerque 1965. The movie Dead Beat first begins as a youth comedy, and then it becomes clear that this is a cruel drama. It's as if director Adam Dubov is intimately familiar with detectives investigating…
And there will be a night when the rubber scarecrows of cheap horror movies will come to life and the ketchup will turn to blood. And the screenwriters, brilliant in their stupidity, will crawl out…
Dear friends. This year has been difficult. Cough-cough. The movie won't be the best either. At least, according to film critics, who gave him only 28 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The audience delivered almost twice…
It's a quiet Nevada night. A rare coyote will run to the middle of the Mojave. Only in the distance there are golden flashes, and then it's not lightning, then the city of Las Vegas…

Jailbird Tommy Brown seduced 16-year-old backing vocalist Mary Ann 3 years ago and pretended that he was walking the path of the righteous. In fact, he has long wanted to master family money and stop…
Despite the fact that I am familiar with many movie hits of the 80s, the film Peggy Sue Got Married (1986) undeservedly passed me by. Peggy Sue remains one of such underestimated pictures, the popularity…

Covering the work of friends is a hell of a complicated business. It is necessary to maintain a balance between outright flattery and undisguised malice. I'll try to be objective, despite my infernal sense of…
Imagine this picture: you enter a car dealership, and there is a hot rod right in the middle of a huge hall. Brand new and - no matter how amazing it may sound - branded,…
