Reverend Horton Heat

Jim Heath is an American musician, rockabilly guitar virtuoso, and leader of the neo-rockabilly-cycobilly band Reverend Horton Heat. Usually, when saying Reverend Horton Heat, everyone means him, Jim Heath, the man and the steamer.

The reverend was intimately acquainted with the iconic The Cramps and went on tour with them, opening their performances with his own. He said that after his set he always stayed on Cramps because Lux was constantly coming up with something new to make the show interesting.

When Brian Setzer was once asked who the coolest guitarists in rockabilly were, he mentioned three names: Reverend Horton Heat, Paul Pigat and Darrel Higham.
