Bloody Mary, Bob Dylan cocktail recipe

Bloody Mary – a recipe from Bob Dylan

On his radio show, Bob Dylan once announced his recipe for a Bloody Mary. We already have a Red Needle cocktail from Leonard Cohen, and by the way, Dylan was one of the first to appreciate his Hallelujah and even performed it at his concerts long before it became a trend.

Bob’s Bloody Mary Recipe

2/3 cup of tomato juice – “Just don’t skimp and don’t trade for cheap, you need good tomato juice here!”. Next, add
2 or 3 ounces (60-90 grams) of vodka – “Sometimes I add 4” (120 grams);
1 teaspoon of horseradish – “Take fresh horseradish”;
Add a few drops of Tabasco.
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, also called Worcestershire sauce. “It’s harder to pronounce than horseradish!”;
Squeeze the juice of half a lime;
A pinch of salt – “I take coarse sea salt; I like the texture!”;
A little freshly ground pepper;
Garnish the cocktail with a celery stalk.

“Put on a Willie Nelson record, sit down,… and good night, Martha!”
