And even a V12 can be crammed into a motorcycle. Heck, if we had more V16 engines, there’s no doubt that it would have been crammed into the bike, too.
The other question is to make it so that it is also beautiful. And the bigger the engine, the more difficult this issue is. But you can still put, for example, a classic Roots boost with a bug trap on the engine! What could be more American than something as light and small as a bike powered by a huge supercharged engine? It’s just the quintessence of Uncle Sam’s famous “smaller car, bigger engine” method.
And there really are enough such follies on the Internet. But finding those that also look attractive among them is a problem. But I still managed to find some very nice specimens, and I will be happy to share them with you. The second of these aggregates will be waiting for you on another page.
And the first one, oddly enough, is a professional drag chopper. Unfortunately, this affects the number of photos and information available about him. It was found on one of the forums for fans of similar bikes, and a friend of the owner wrote a few lines about this wild car.
Unfortunately, no information about the speed and time measurements of the bike was posted and probably never will be. But they reported that it is one hundred percent stable, and that the rear gas tank with wheels can be easily removed, so you can drive on the track and walk along the roads. On the other hand, it is the gas tank that gives additional handling to this unit, and, according to those who rode, the tank is not felt at all when driving.
Actually, this project originally had a 5.7 liter supercharged engine, and a custom frame was built specifically for the engine – perhaps this explains the attractive appearance. The cylinder heads and camshaft for the engine were custom-made and originally designed for the track.
And although nothing can be said about the speed of the bike, the author of the original post states the following: if you inject nitro, the front wheel lifts off the ground even at a speed of 130 km / h! A real monster, but then, is it worth being surprised by such results when your engine weighs more than everything else combined? Rather, it is surprising that these units do not fly. Into space.
